I got online money. Now what?

September 27, 2008

I again got funds from the Matched! Here’s some evidence.

And this month, I got about $197 as of September 26, 2008. There would some more coming for this month :)

Now what?

All of my online earnings, I have withdraw them all. All are used up. Before, the funds is for my pregnancy. Now, for extra money on the house. But my husband and I are planning to just save all my online earnings on my bank account for our baby’s 1st birthday celebration. It might not be enough, but the funds would surely ease up our budgeting on baby Ivan’s birthday.

And if we would be lucky, we hope to save more for his future! Maybe that would come after his 1st birthday celebration.

The Angpao On Parties :)

Iceah has a comment about the party for baby Ivan’s birthday next year. Her comment is as follows…

~~~~~~~ start ~~~~~~~
yehey! ivan the great c: mwa! wish i could kiss you c:
berry consider your budget ask consultation on a party organizer and a caterer i’ll help out okay c: i have a friend who helped out nung wedding namin lahat pati invitations sya nagsuggest samin kasi caterer and party organizer sya di yun mgpapabyad sakin kasi super friend namin sya ni pastilan para hindi kna masyado mamroblema sabihin mo kung magkano buget mo then he would advice na pati your situation c:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

then I replied…

~~~~~~~start ~~~~~~~
yes actually I’m thinking of yung cater na lang, and about the place, baka puede manghiram. usually ang birthday is cater di ba. ok sana kaso ayaw ni husband. kasi ang prob mga kamag-anak nya panay chinese. take note!!! chinese from china sila, pero dito na sila nakatira sa pinas. hayyy nako, racist talaga ako even my own race. Yang mga chinese from china akala mo kung sino sila!
anyway, balik sa topic. hindi kc kumakain ng prito yung mga from china. so we have to sort out things kung ano dapat.
sa saisaki di ba a person is about 500php? so kung 100 person, hmmmmm ok pa siguro, kaya ko pang bayaran. or maybe kung more than 100, ok pa ren. babawi ako sa angpao :p and sure naman na bawi. laging ganun sa chinese.
i’ll compute for it. and hindi na importante yung magic show sa amin. karamihan ng bata na maliit sa amin is sa side ni husband, so wala ring kuenta. mga hindi na marunong magtagalog, hindi pa marunong magenglish. so tipid na kami duon.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

after mo gumastos ng malaki sa handaan, bawi ka lagi sa angpao. as long as chinese ang relatives and friends and other guests mo. that’s the chinese culture, angpao imbes na gift. I myself would rather give angpao to a chinese friend that is getting married or having their child’s 1st birthday. I think it’s a practical way of giving angpao rather than gifts. all of us need money. and besides, mahirap mag-isip ng ireregalo. but it doesn’t mean that i don’t want to receive gifts. i’m so happy to receive gifts, puera na lang yung iba na tipong sapilitan.

but we still don’t know where to held the party. we still don’t have the money for the party. so we are hoping that we can earn some for his birthday celebration.

Got any credit?

September 22, 2008

Do you have any credit? Is it good or a bad credit? I have a bad credit to share. I still have not paid a mobile phone telecommunications company that is running is years! I think it’s already about five years. I wanted to credit dispute that is good enough when I would need to borrow money.

I think I would need to improve my credit so I would not have a hard time applying for credit cards one day, if ever I would apply for one. I think one should really take care of their credit. Who knows when you would need an emergency cash. All of us do sometimes need a cash on our hands quickly for something. We just don’t know when.

And to improve credit score, you would need a company service that would help you do the repair. With their help, you would not have a hard time applying for credit cards or loan. Just leave the work to the experts. I think it’s the best thing to do. Improve credit now, and be merry tomorrow. I think it is a good financial motto. Well just be ready for everything.

Earning Money From Your Blog

September 7, 2008

If there is such a book, and if that book is for real where one can follow a quick guide on how to earn thousands of dollars by just blogging, I would be lining up just to get that book!!! But we are not on the dream world. We are living in a situation where one should raise money for ones future.

I have been blogging since year 2005. And this year 2008, I have started to make friends with other bloggers, and even started earning money from my blog.

As for me, the “Dummies” book above does not exist. It doesn’t, really. I just made that book from a free generator. A bloggers who starts to blog, and then started to earn money online, did learn from his experience on how to be an effective blogger both for blogging interest and of course financial interest.

So, what have I learned about how to earn from blogging?

If you want to earn from blogging, you should start from somewhere.

You have to have a blog, if you don’t have one. To know more about what you can get from blogging, here’s a quick tip from Chicken Heart. There are also some books available that would introduce you about blogging plus how to earn from it.

You like to earn from blogging, but does not want to blog.

Now, that’s a problem. How can you earn from blogging if you don’t want to blog. Wy not try to blog for a month or two. Anyway, you can start earning from your blog after about three (3) months from your first blog post. If you can maintain posting to your blog regularly, then that’s a good start. If you can’t, maybe you must drop the idea.

What should my posts be related to?

What is your interest? You can have a personal blog, or a blog that is related to technology or shopping or any other specific topic.

How to earn from blogging?

You actually earn from blogging by writing blog posts that is related to the advertisers requirement. You put links of the advertiser’s website on your post and talk about it.

Important things your blog should meet to earn from blogging.

Google PageRank scores your blog or website from 0 to 10, 0 being the lowest. Check your PageRank at http://www.prchecker.info/. Advertisers love blogs with higher PageRank.

And your site should also have visitors. The more visitors you get, the more earnings you get. Put on your feed burner link on your blog. Set-up some community-related widgets to get more visitor.

Feed Burner?

Feed Burner allows visitors of your site to subscribe to your blog. You can add a Feed Burner widget or a link to your blog to get subscribers. Check out http://www.feedburner.com/.

Setting up some community related widgets.

Sign-up and up widgets of these services to your blog:

My Blog Log - http://www.mybloglog.com/
BlogCatalog - http://www.blogcatalog.com/
Technorati - http://www.technorati.com/

Add a chat box too to your blog. If you don’t want a chat box, that would just be fine.

cbox - http://cbox.ws/

There are actually other alternatives and other widgets that can help you get visitors to your site. Try to check other bloggers’ site and search the Internet.

Start Blogging!!!

Enjoy blogging. Enjoy making new friends online. Enjoy learning more knowledge. Search on the Internet on pay-to-post opportunities that you can join so you can start earning money.

*** Notes ***

- I don’t know if there are people earning thousands of dollars per month. How I wish I can.
- If you want to earn from your blog, don’t use Wordpress.com blog host.
- If you want to use Wordpress, look for hosting sites to host your Wordpress blog.

My money goes to…

July 22, 2008

Jean told me to keep track of expenses, our family expenses. Hi Jean. I’m pasting your comment here for safe-keeping. Binabalikan ko kasi mga posts ko minsan pag masama ang loob ko. I do read my old posts :)

Jean says…

Kami rin ganon. We didn’t track (and I didn’t do this when I was single either) our expenses until months into our marriage and we started wondering where our money was going.

All the while, we both think that we live frugally but the money just disappears! So we started tracking, we keep an excel spreadsheet (downloaded one from Pear Budget before, pwede ko share if you like) and we tracked our expenses by category - dining out, groceries, activities, his & mine, home expenses, maintenance, etc. Ayun. Ang lakas pala namin mag eat out and we spend a lot on activities (buying gear or specialty clothing / equipment).

Try nyo i keep track, maski for a few months lang para ma pinpoint nyo yung mga areas na pwede tipirin, if meron. Kung wala na kayong matitipid pang areas, then alam nyong you’re doing the best that you could and yung best step is to go out & look for additional sources of income na.

Good luck :) Let me know if you want me to send you the budget spreadsheet.

I do keep track my expenses before I’m married. I only keep track when I feel I’m eating and expending too much. At the start of the day that I’m married, lahat gastos!

Here’s the reasons, one reason after another…

  • After getting married, my hubby’s earnings is so small. And he even had three months straight without earning anything.
  • His earnings has increase, but I’m seeing an OB to get pregnant. Lot’s of expenses on medicines and ultrasounds. And I do still help on other expenses.
  • When I get pregnant, my first trimester is hell! I got blood for about three weeks. I was sent to the hospital and stayed there for three days. I took medicines for my baby. I stayed home for two months. So I wasn’t able to help hubby on all the expenses.
  • December 2007, I’m still on my leave, recovering… playing Diablo II for about an hour or two. I felt dizzy. I also do blogging. And that time, I found out that I can earn from my blog. I’m actually trying on how much time I can stay on the computer before I get dizzy and waisted. It’s December and I was planning to get back to work on the next month. I was back at work on January 16. I also started earning money online.
  • Check up, vitamins, ultrasounds…
  • Now, have expenses on my baby
Other expenses that uses cash. When it’s cash, it’s from my salary or from my online earnings.

  • car gasoline. well not always.
  • water bill
  • LPG tank
  • everyday food and groceries

Parents-in-law’s “enjoyment”. Expenses I can’t control. But if I can, I don’t want to have those expenses.

  • Gifts to my brother-in-law’s two daughters on their birthdays. When one has a gift, the other should have one too. And they spend 500 PHP each for each kid.
  • When mother-in-law give gifts to some of their relatives on China. Not too much but it is still considered a cost.
  • The hmmm ancestor home in China. Someone from China would say they we (I mean they) need to contribute for the repair or beautification, they would. I really really really hate that idea.
  • Mother-in-law was playing mahjong before I gave birth. It’s a small amount of bet. But it’s still expenses.

Thanks Jean for offering the software. But I don’t think I can ever use it. I would want too. But my hubby might think that I’m controlling my money. And my mother-in-law is taking care of my baby while I’m at work (I have another issue about this. It would be on my another post.) So I guess I should be thankful about it and just let them have their extra expenses. Let them be happy.

But starting next month, I should be planning on…

  • my baby’s future. maybe opening a kiddie account.
  • an educational plan?
  • my SSS and Philhealth, maybe I have to start contributing. This serves as my insurance.

So much expenses, so little to save. I should compute my online income instead and save some of them I guess.

So, she’s not too bad after all…

July 18, 2008

I have blogged about “her”, my hubby’s brother’s wife, on http://berryblitz79.blogspot.com/2007/06/hate-that-wont-heal-in-me.html. She’s the one who wore the sleeveless shirt and maong shorts on the picture on that blog post.

I hate her for ruining our picture. I hate her for hating my husband. I know she has a reason to hate him. But why hate him. He is not her husband. What did my husband do to her.

My mother says that she is a good person, that it’s my husband and his parents who are “different”. And so, maybe it’s true. I know I’m too good to my husband. I told him that as long as he is earning something, that he is happy, then I don’t care how much he earns a month, as long as his earnings plus earnings can buy us food, provide good shelter to us, education to our child, and maybe some savings.

I think… “Tanga talaga ako. I love my husband so much. I want a good relationship with my parents-in-law. I provide money to them.” I think I better save some for myself. Or I guess I can start saving money by opening a kiddie account for my son as early as next month.

My mother is right. She is not that bad after all. I have just talked to her the past few days. My husband and I went and visit her to see her new born son. And I’m happy to know that she doesn’t hate me.

Earn extra for all mommies out there…

June 21, 2008

It is really amazing how SocialSpark has helped me. I am truly very thankful for all the opportunities I got on SocialSpark. I get to earn a lot enough for additional cash.

Earning money is not easy. My husband and I are both working. Since I have just given birth, I need to get some rest at home and take care of my baby for a month or two. I was so worried how my husband is going to pay all the bills, since he had just paid the hospital bills.

SocialSpark helped me with it. I have just withdrawn money for our home bills. I have just started this year and I had already earned a lot more I can imagine. I never thought I’ll earn a lot that would help us pay our home bills. Imagine, earning from the Internet, who would believe that I earn super extra cash? But it is true.

I am inviting all mommy bloggers like me out there to try this one out. Since you have your blog, and since you love blogging and writing, why don’t you earn some extra income? I know a lot of mothers are stay-home-mommies. So I’m sure you all will love earning extra with this one.

What do you need to do? Just sign-up SocialSpark, add your blog, and wait for the approval. When your blog gets approved, I’m sure all of you would start earning bucks and would also love it.

When I get back to work, I would still continue in my SocialSpark life. I would continue and earn extra cash for our home bills, and for my baby’s milk and vitamins too :)

Earn Permanent Monthly Income

May 30, 2008

Hi to all. I just want to share to you another way on how I earn on my website and blog. This is a permanent monthly income. This means that you would only set thing up once and get monthly payments. This is open to both websites and even blogs :) Cheers to all of us.

How it works:

  1. You join in and add your website or even your blog. You can add upto 5 websites/blogs. And each website, you can add upto 5 pages.
  2. You would wait until they found an advertiser for the pages you submitted.
  3. You will be informed if they have found one. You’ll need to put a banner to that page.
That’s it. They pay £3.00 GBP per page. GBP is almost double of US Dollar. My first received payment from them is £17.00 GBP.

I’m actually waiting to receive funds from them before I encourage people to join in. So I’ll be sure that I’m not promoting a hoax or a spam :)

This is for all people who wants to earn more. And to all my co-bloggers who are earning money from blogging. Guys, this is a permanent income. So I’ll be receiving £17.00 GBP monthly, and hopefully would get more until my other pages gets advertisers.

Sell on eBay Easily

May 14, 2008
I wonder how to actually sell items on eBay.  I’m a techie person.  But when it comes to online selling and finance, I’m kind of chicken and is a no-no on those things.  I have some brand new CD players and have so many old magazines and books to that I want to get rid off.  One thing that comes into my mind is to sell them on eBay.

And one day, I might need to sell MP3 and MP4 players, both hands-on selling and maybe online too.  MP3 and MP4 players are great items to sell on eBay.  Just take a look at this brand new slim MP3/MP4/FM radio player that comes with a lot of function like games and others.  And it comes with a silicon case too.

The item was just on the eBay a few hours ago.  And there are many bidders wanted to get the item.  The item is on the current bid of USD 11.50.  Selling items like this online gets a wide customer range.  It’s worldwide.

But again, I really don’t know where to start.  And I don’t want to take pictures of all the things I’ll be selling online because I don’t have much of that time for those.  Luckily, there’s this company called iSold It where I can go and have them sell my items on eBay.

How it works?  Just drop by on the local iSold It store and bring your items to sell on eBay.  Talk to the store staff about the details of your items and how much you’d like it sold.  They can also do a little research on how much your item is worth for you.  You also don’t need to worry about the pictures to upload on eBay.  Let them do it for you.  You would just wait till your item is sold.  Of course you’ll know if your item is sold or not.  They will give you the link where you can check on what’s happening to your item.  When your item is sold, the store would send a check to you.

What a life.  I love this store.  I sure need their service.  If you have some things to sell online, you might want to check them out.  Maybe their service would make selling your items faster.  Just let them sell your items on eBay.  Let them do the work and you’ll just receive your pay check.
