Chinese culture should be edited…
Many cultures have this practice: Husband goes to work. Wife as housekeeper. So that makes the husband is the leader. Wife just says yes to all.
Among those with that kind of culture are the Chinese. That culture should only be applied to those husband who really does the money making, and his wife is a housekeeper. That culture should not be applied to those with that culture, but both the husband and wife are money makers. Worst is if that culture is applied when the wife is earning more than the husband. I mean, why in the world would say ‘yes’ to all the things her husband and her in-laws want?
I am on that situation right now. But my in-laws are good to me. I just try to understand their situation. But I hope, they know that I am the main money maker at home. I don’t want the word to burst out from my mouth. I’m on the end of the rope. My patience is ending near.
